get this information from? seems completely false. as far as i know its thought to be about 1500 years old, and theres not even any stone there weighing 450 tons, the largest stone there recorded is about 131 metric tons, and its made of red sandstone. i don't know of any stone there made out of
diorite, also diorite is of course not only cutable by diamonds. again, where did you get this information from?
question. I do not believe the stones are cut. There are holes 1mm in diameter through 2 meters of diorit. It must have been casted or laser-cut. Quarts fragments in the surface also indicates casting.
diorite.Those are the most impressive in precision-cut. And they are made from the hardest stone.
