Using the infrared camera in the Wii remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs), you can accurately track the location of your head and render view dependent images on the screen. This effectively transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment. I wonder what would happen with a 3d television plus this method. I honestly have no idea about why or how this works, or about 3dtv technology because I have only witnessed it a few
times at most. Would the experience be even more immersive? Also when will technology like this be a common part of every day life?

sooo... why isn't all the cool stuff that Johnny Lee came up with made its way into a game?? Seriously.. how many Wii gamers have two wii remotes? bunches! so one
on the TV facing the player could do head tracking and make a seriously cool Wii game! Lets hope we see one for Wii U..Johnny should be a game dev! :))

Genius! This looked so extensively more effective than any other current tech out there! Just another example of how we overcomplicate things, using gas instead of electricity, using engines instead of magnetic force, using glasses
that screw with picture quality and overcomplicated systems to create a 3d effect.

we do to get this technology into popular action games? Seriously can we give signatures in some petition or spam some specific mail addresses? I will never pay for the regular 3d glasses but I'd gladly pay a few hundred bucks to get this working in games like Battlefield 3 and I doubt that I'm
alone in this.

I think that this IR tech is amazing, I do not think that even Nintendo knew that their
Wii mote was capable of such things. Especially the white board. Further to that the Wilmot table using a mirror. Tis witchcraft lol ... Bravo indeed

But this only works, if you watch it with just one eye. Two eyes would still see a moving 2D image on the screen. You need to combine this with a 3D TV to get the real imagination of looking through a window. That's the problem with todays 3D cinemas: If you move your head,
the image stays the same.
